Whidbey Island

Whidbey Island is known as the “shortest distance to far away” and offers a quick escape from Seattle. One moment, you’re on I-5, and the next, you’re surrounded by grassy fields and forests, with stunning views of the Puget Sound. Stay here for a calm, relaxing getaway.

Luxury:

Kingfisher Beach House

Located in Langley, just 15 minutes from the Clinton Ferry, this modern home boasts stunning views. With three bedrooms, it comfortably sleeps up to six guests and is pet-friendly.

Captain Whidbey

Situated in Coupeville on a 6-acre waterfront property, Captain Whidbey features 30 historic rooms, suites, and cabins. Enjoy access to a private lagoon, dock, sauna, rowboats, lawn games, and more.

Beach Home at Luna Shores

This spacious three bedroom home accommodates up to eight guests and offers spectacular sunset views of the Salish Sea, Olympic Mountains, and San Juan Islands. The upstairs balconies are perfect for whale watching!

Mid-range:

Sunset Beach Haven

You cannot get more waterfront than this. Stay here to overlook the Salish Sea right below the deck. With two bedrooms, this home sleeps up to four.

Saratoga Inn

Located in Langley, this inn is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the beach. Enjoy complimentary breakfast during your stay, with rooms that accommodate two to four guests.

Charming Waterfront Cottage

Just twelve miles from the Clinton Ferry, this cozy home offers beautiful views of the forest and Puget Sound. You'll also have access to a private, swimmable beach.

Anacortes

Anacortes is the gateway to the San Juan Islands, but it's a charming destination worth exploring on its own. We love the nearby Deception Pass State Park and all the seafood restaurants.

Spacious Bayfront Home

This three bedroom home sleeps up to seven and features a beautiful kitchen, large patio, easy beach access, and our favorite amenity—a sauna.

Mid-range:

Charming Downtown Home

This home is perfect for those seeking a walkable location. It’s close to restaurants, the marina, and the Anacortes Farmers Market. With three bedrooms, it sleeps up to six guests.

Nantucket Inn

A colonial-style bed and breakfast, the Nantucket Inn offers rooms with a cozy New England feel and serves incredible breakfasts.

The Marina Inn

Conveniently located a mile from downtown, guests appreciate the Marina Inn's varied complimentary breakfast.

La Conner

La Conner is one of our favorite towns in Washington. It's small and charming, offering a delightful waterfront downtown without feeling touristy. 

Luxury:

The Nest

Located just a few miles outside of downtown La Conner, this cottage home is perfect for enjoying beautiful sunsets. It has three bedrooms, accommodates up to eleven guests, and features beach access.

Quiet Sunsets

Book this home for the views. The living area, balcony, and hot tub all provide incredible vistas of Skagit Bay. It has four bedrooms and sleeps up to six.

The Wild Iris

Located just outside of downtown La Conner, you can expect this area to be quiet and peaceful. We love the rocking chairs on the porch, and everyone has high praises for the breakfasts here. 

Mid-range:

La Conner Inn

The La Conner Inn is within walking distance of main street’s boutique shops and restaurants, yet far enough to ensure a quiet stay. Enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast with rooms that accommodate two to four guests.

Index

Index is a charming small town at the base of the Cascade Mountains. It’s known for breathtaking views, outdoor adventures like rafting, hiking, and climbing, with a friendly atmosphere. 

Luxury:

Secluded A-Frame

This cabin is full of character with wooden beams, stone walls and, of course, the hot tub has the best view of the Skykomish River. 

Mountain Cabin

This riverfront cabin is perfectly designed to take in the views. The living room, bedrooms, hot tub, and outdoor lounge area all face the Skykomish River. Inside you’ll find a stone fireplace, shelves of books, and a cozy mountain vibe. It has one bedroom and sleeps up to six.

Cozy Mountain A-Frame

This one bedroom home accommodates two, and it’s pet-friendly, has a hot tub, and overlooks the river with a view of the Cascades Mountains in the background.

Mid-range:

Cozy Riverside Ski Cabin

This home has stunning views of Mount Index right from the front yard. It has two bedrooms and sleeps up to five at a great value.

Romantic Riverside Cabin

This is the perfect cabin for couples. It has beautiful views of the Skykomish River, a fire pit, hot tub, and a cozy interior.

Jaybird Retreat

This two bedroom home sleeps four and offers stunning wide views of the river and mountains beyond. It’s pet-friendly, has a hot tub, and two bathrooms. 

Outside of Leavenworth

Stay near Lake Wenatchee or on the Wenatchee River in Plain to be surrounded by nature for a peaceful stay. Nearby is Lake Wenatchee State Park, some of our favorite spring hiking trails, and Leavenworth is only 30 minutes away.  

Mid-range:

The Trout Shack

This is a refurbished vintage PUD lineman’s cabin, just 20 feet from the banks of the Wenatchee River. Relax in the hot tub, the hammock next to the river, or take a cold plunge into the swimming hole. Perfect for two. 

Leavenworth Escape

This two bedroom home sleeps four and is pet friendly. Stay here for a well stocked kitchen, great fire place, BBQ, and hot tub amongst the trees. 

Tiny cabins

These tiny homes are great for small groups traveling together. Options include the Lake House, Bear Den, Ski Chalet, Tall Pines, and Wilderness Lodge. They are each one bedroom, accommodating up to four with great porches, propane fire pits, and well equipped kitchens.

Woodland Home

This three bedroom home sleeps six. It’s pet friendly, has a hot tub, fireplace, and private location surrounded by forest. 

Leavenworth

Leavenworth is Washington’s famous Bavarian-themed town. It’s a three hour drive from Seattle and located at the base of the eastern side of the Cascades. We love the hot summers and snowy winters here.

Luxury:

The Post Hotel

The Posthotel is an adult-only wellness hotel in downtown Leavenworth, with a focus on relaxing pools, spa treatments, and river views. Amenities include parking, breakfast and lunch, plus seasonal rentals, including bikes and snowshoes.

Enzian Inn

This is a family-oriented hotel with indoor and outdoor pools, game room, and an excellent complimentary breakfast included with your stay. It’s about 0.2 miles from downtown shops and restaurants so it’s quieter, but still walkable. 

Riverfront Home

This three bedroom cabin sleeps six and is about a ten-minute drive from downtown Leavenworth. It sits on the Wenatchee and is surrounded by forest, making it the perfect getaway.

Mid-range:

Bavarian Lodge

The Bavarian Lodge is our go-to spot. It has a central location in downtown Leavenworth and puts you within walking distance of shops and restaurants, and parking is complimentary.

Sleeping Lady Resort and Spa

Located just outside of downtown, the Sleeping Lady has a sprawling property along the Wenatchee River. Meander trails through the forest to reach your cabin, and enjoy a nature-centered stay. Cabins accommodate between two and six.

Bear Paw Cabin

This is a two-bedroom cabin that accommodates four. Stay here to trade the busy downtown area for a relaxing stay in the forest. We love the fire pit and hot tub on the deck and the classic pine interior.

Chelan

The town of Chelan sits on the shores of Lake Chelan, one of the deepest lakes in the United States. The area is known for wineries, hot summers, and long days spent boating or swimming on the lake.

Luxury:

Luxury Condo

Located 15 minutes from downtown Chelan, this condo features stunning views of the lake, and is within walking distance of restaurants and wineries. With three bedrooms, it sleeps up to ten.

Mid-range:

Inn at Sand Gables

Located on the Gambles Sand golf course, these modern rooms feature views of the course and surrounding hills.

Park Point Condo

This condo is located a ten-minute walk from restaurants, has great views, two bedrooms, and sleeps up to five.

Top-floor Penthouse Condo

Stay here for great views of Lake Chelan and easy beach access. This two-bedroom penthouse sleeps up to six.
