Mount Baker Ski Area
The Mount Baker Ski Area is three miles from Artist Point and the top of the Mount Baker Scenic Byway. Nearby, you’ll find a seasonal summer cafe, incredible hiking trails, and some of Washington’s best ski routes.

The Mountaineers Baker Lodge
You’ll find dormitory-style lodging here with women’s, men’s, and family sleeping areas. Breakfast and dinner are served on weekends, and there are hot showers, boot racks, and a drying room for gear — what more could you need for an adventure filled weekend?
Glacier
Glacier is the town nearest to the base of Mount Baker, located just 30 minutes from the Mount Baker Ski Resort. It’s small, complete with a handful of restaurants and plenty of beautiful cabins for rent.

Bellingham is the largest town near Mount Baker, located an hour and a half from Artist Point. Stay here for more activities, like farmers markets, bioluminescent kayaking tours, and restaurants nearby.

Located near the Bellingham Airport, the Holiday Inn offers a more affordable option. It's a 20-minute drive to downtown Bellingham, but very convenient if you have a connecting flight to SeaTac.
